LH44 X Ferrari!

The marriage of two of the biggest brands in Formula 1 is now here for the world to see. Lewis arrived at Maranello for a shakedown at Fiorano, Ferrari’s back porch. And between the moment he probably landed to him hitting the track, he sent the entire community into raptures with ‘that’ photo. 7 windows, 1 closed door, in front of Enzo Ferrari’s house, alongside a Ferrari F40 - the last road car to be overseen by Mr Ferrari himself. A photo that spoke 1000 words and turned a further few million eyes. A picture that did more talking than Ferrari’s race strategy team usually manages.
If only Ferrari as a team can achieve this level of finesse in 2025, who knows, this year might be Ferrari’s year. If not, they better find a worthy excuse to save their fans from a breakdown globally, again! In all seriousness, LH44 X Ferrari is real. It’s here. And if you think there’s anything else the tifosi wants to see more than the 2 scarlet cars - 16 and 44 hit the track in Melbourne and lock the front row (in that order), well, sei uno sciocco!
CHARLES, WILL YOU BE OKAY?

Charles Leclerc has been Ferrari’s golden boy since 2019, dethroning Sebastian Vettel and cementing himself as the face of the Scuderia. Ferrari built its house around him. And as much as we love Carlos, if someone named Lewis Hamilton comes to Maranello, Carlos was always going to be the one handing over the spare key. Now, for the first time, Charles isn’t just the only alpha—he’s got another one sharing the garage, in his team. Charles surely loves a challenge but with Lewis in the mix, Charles faces not only his fiercest teammate yet, but a 7-time champion hungry for that elusive 8th title.
And if Ferrari delivers a championship-winning car in 2025, we’re looking at two world-class drivers gunning for the same piece of real estate on the track. Sparks will fly, egos will clash, and the Ferrari pit wall will need all the aspirin they can get. Keep your popcorn ready fellas!
2025 - THE SEASON THAT DEFINES/DESTROYS CAREERS!

If we zoom back and look back at each of the teams, every driver pairing has something to prove or something to lose. At Ferrari, Lewis wants to cement his legacy as the best - by winning for the best team. Charles is looking to prevent that and establish his claim as the man to beat by becoming the champion and beating Lewis. McLaren now has 2 equal-footed drivers and both of them are expected to make a jump up, which means fighting for the same piece of the tarmac. Lando has more experience, but Oscar is more gritty.
Mercedes is a tale of contrast. Kimi is touted to be a generational talent, but George is now the de facto team leader and wants to cement that place. If there’s even a slight chance of Max moving to Mercedes in 2026, George is on the firing line, despite the stellar 2024. He has to nail it and more in 2025. Liam Lawson will be eager to prove why Red Bull trusted him over Yuki. And how much longer can Fernando trust Aston to deliver him a car fast enough to match his competency? With Adrian Newey moving to Aston and Max rumored to come in, the Aston dynamic is another spicy one. Start hoarding that popcorn folks!
THE MADMAX DILEMMA!

Max Verstappen is the hottest asset in Formula 1 at the moment and hence, it’s no surprise that a lot of teams want to exploit Red Bull’s downfall and poach the best driver on the grid. According to the very (un)trustworthy rumour mill, Mercedes and Aston Martin seem to be the front runners. With Toto Wolff seemingly willing to sell his soul and one George Russell to sign Max, the irony is amusing. On top of that, the paddock chatter is hinting at a Mercedes engine advantage (chuckles in French) for 2026.
Can Mercedes indeed poach Max and bring the headlines, PR, and numbers back to Brackley after Lewis’ exit? If not, a certain Canadian billionaire with a fat cheque book is waiting to pounce. And if rumours are ever to be believed, the current number on the cheque is GBP 1 billion, spread over 5 years along with equity in the company. Max’s old man Jos is keeping his ‘meetings’ with Toto no secret. Talk about a switcheroo! Do we have room for more popcorn?
WHAT DOES 2025 HAVE IN STORE FOR US?

Well, it promised to be one epic season of racing. With two chaotic races in Sao Paulo and Mexico City, the Formula E championship is wide open and 2025 seems to be another nail-biting season. Moving to F1, the sheer excitement before the season is unparalleled all thanks to the insane driver lineups and how closely packed the top teams are. To be honest, it got us thinking. Which F1 team has the best driver lineup in 2025? Let’s rate them from WORST to BEST. Here’s what we think -
Alonso and Stroll - Aston Martin
Tsunoda and Hadjar - Racing Bulls
Gasly and Doohan - Alpine
Hulkenberg and Bortoleto - Kick Sauber
Ocon and Bearman - Haas
Russell and Kimi Antonelli - Mercedes
Verstappen and Lawson - Red Bull
Norris and Piastri - McLaren
Leclerc and Hamilton - Ferrari
What do you think about these rankings?
