CADILLAC ENTERS THE CHAT

We must observe a minute of silence for all our fans who will now be annoyed by an uneven number of teams on the grid and all the racing creatives that will have to be unequally balanced to feature the 2 extra slots in as FIA makes it official that Cadillac will be joining the grid in 2026. The news first broke a few months earlier, whereby the racing fraternity made us aware of the advancements made in bringing an 11th team on to the grid in Cadillac.
The prospect of a new team has been around since 2023, as Andretti made its ambition to join the racing grid public. Journalists and experts also wondered about the prospect of Cadillac joining hands with Andretti to make this racing dream possible. We all know how that unfolded when Andretti’s dream was mercilessly squashed by the organisation. Later, General Motors backed Cadillac made a plea to enter the grid and found themselves to be let in rather easily. The general sentiment around the grid has been more or less very receptive towards a new team joining the grid (after their ultimate concern of prize pool was resolved by the anti-dilution sum imposed on Cadillac). 2026 marks the beginning of a new era of regulations and it will be interesting to see how the new team manages to fare amid the 10 teams hell bent on making it to the front of the grid.
NEWEY’S PENCIL GETS TO WORK

Lawrence Stroll’s master plan to make Aston Martin a championship challenger finally reaches its execution stage as Adrian Newey begins his tenure at Aston Martin. (Tough job ahead of him to build a car so fast that even Stroll can drag it to a podium). Newey to Aston Martin has been one of the biggest transfers in this world of motorsport as he announced the end of his successful partnership with Red Bull earlier in the year. Newey has been the brain behind some of the cars that have not only gone on to win multiple championships but also achieved so in a way that is best described by no other word but ‘domination’.
Daddy Stroll’s grab of Newey is considered one of his biggest achievements and pivotal in Aston’s mission to not only pose a fierce battle for the front of the grid in 2026 but also have considerable odds to come victorious on the other side. Aston Martin have found themselves in a negative spiral lately. Given their well-known plan of shifting the maximum efforts to 2026, the audience has gone as far as to say that they might even be struggling at the back of the grid this year. The team will try its in 2026, capitalising on the available resources and the skills of the dominating car designer, Adrian Newey.
FANS FROWN AT THE FIA

The biggest attack against the FIA has been realised in a meeting we overlooked because it wasn't interesting enough for Max Verstappen wasn’t in it. Head of Motorsport UK, David Richards has published an open letter to the governing body of the pinnacle of motor-racing in the most scathing attack on the FIA president. Considering how big the UK is in Motorsport and its influence around the world, this kind of letter isn’t something that will go unnoticed.
Recent decisions of the FIA have unified the audience and the drivers alike. (This could very well just be FIA President’s tact to bring the grid together). Rumour mill has begun spinning with news of Susie Wolff running for the FIA President after her successful campaign with the Academy. The FIA has been getting an absurd amount of spotlight and thus becoming subject to a large amount of scrutiny from drivers of all disciplines of racing. Last season witnessed some of the classic blunders from the side of FIA and everyone wished for more homogeneity in the imposition of penalties and rules. FIA will occupy a front seat in the racing drama we have ahead of us in the already exciting season.
WILLIAMS AND THEIR HYPE TRAIN

A team that has been the cause of a great deal of headlines and hype this season has undoubtedly been Williams. The arrival of Carlos Sainz has gifted a new life to the team that faced its toughest season last year. Public poll is putting them in the top 5 already after they demonstrated their strong pace in the pre-season testing, but that’s not where it ends. Teams like McLaren have gone even as far as to say that Williams can not only be the top of the grid but even emerge as a threat to the top 4 teams through the course of the season.
Williams can surely be in the mix.
The fans are even picking them for a podium as they believe it might just take one race in this season of such close battles on the front of the grid to give the strong midfielders like Williams and Alpine the chance to experience the champagne on the podium. This new wave of hope at Williams proves the efforts of James Vowles bringing Carlos to Williams supremely fruitful, and this sure has worked out better than he could ever imagine, and everyone hopes for them to return to the top of the grid and make the competition even more exciting for us fans shortly.
CELEBS BEHIND THE WHEEL!

Ahead of the electric racing event at the Miami International Autodrome, a carefully curated collective of 11 of the world’s most followed and popular personalities comprising actors, athletes and content creators with a combined reach of over 300 million, have been paired with elite race teams and drivers as a part of their preparation. (An idea inspired from the Aston Martin driver line-up). In the two-day event, they experienced the breathtaking performance of the all-new GEN3 Evo race car on the track, as well as took part in several familiarisation laps to accustom themselves to the altered track layout.
The celebrity line-up included some hugely recognisable faces like Theo Baker, Tom Felton, Cleo Abram, Sergio Aguero and many more. They've experienced first-hand just how tough and complicated it is to prepare, train and drive like a world-class racing driver. It was a wonderful initiative to capture the entire journey from rookie-to-racer, captured through the creators’ lens and to bring in a new crowd to this insane world of electric racing. It showcased what it truly takes to compete at the pinnacle of electric racing, with a feature-length documentary coming later in 2025.

Pappaya has become the second name of the reigning World Constructors Champion team, McLaren, but why PAPPAYA? When McLaren first hit the track, it was the era of black and white television and Bruce McLaren found out that any shade of bright orange made the car appear distinct white over the all black and white footage and hence stayed with the audience then. It was this idea that gave McLaren their identity, heritage and their much loved ‘Pappaya rules’!
