GERMAN GP - SATURDAY SPRINT

This sprint proved ‘the First’ for many different things. First sprint held in Brno, first Pole start in 2025 for Francesco Bagnaia, but what won’t be for the first time is our disappointed faces that we force onto a smile at the continued domination by Marc Marquez at the end of each race. It was a dream start from the Ducati Lenovo team as Pecco had a great start as teammate Marc Marquez snatched it up in turn 3. On the other end, Alex Marquez was having a Sprint to forget as a poor start left him down in 19th on Turn 1. (The only thing worse than scoring badly in a test is to come home to realise that your sibling has topped the class.) Tyre pressure issue for the Ducati Lenovo team seemed to be slowing Marc and Pecco down from their leading positions, however, Marc Marquez can now defy physics to win races. Acosta and Bastianini rounded up the podium, making it even sweeter for KTM.
MARQUEZ MAKES DUCATI HISTORY!

Sometimes you just have to sit back and admire greatness. (Because that is all you can do, sitting on your sofa, hoping to see other faces on top of the podium.) Bagnaia punched off the line well and got the holeshot, but we have seen this movie a thousand times, and the ending almost always remains the same- Marc snatching the lead before lap 1 ends. Pecco came in challenging for the win, and the Ducati was proving its pace around the track. Alex Marquez's disastrous weekend continued as he found himself down in Turn 12, while the luck flipped for Bastianini as he found himself in the gravel after an amazing sprint performance. Marc kept Bezecchi at bay before drifting away, and the podium fight became everything to look out for. Bezecchi landed ahead of Acosta, who himself had to keep Pecco behind to clinch his first Sunday podium. There was no answer to Marc Marquez’s pace, who became the first Ducati driver to win five Grand Prixs in a row.
BELGIAN GP CONTEST!

SO MUCH TO PLAY FOR, for the drivers and for us fans as Belgian GP weekend draws in and so does the Grid Master Belgin GP Contest! Championship on the table for two McLaren boys with Oscar in his ‘Villain Era’ and a memorable trip to Qatar on the table for lucky fans throught the OFF 2 QATAR Contest and Fan Championship Contest. Will it be a McLaren domination yet again or the track would give Mercedes a sniff like last time? Will Ferrari show-up finally or will Max make this his playground? So many questions to be answered and even more points and rewards to be earned. So put your passion, skill and intuition on the show and win big on this weekend Belgian GP Contest only on the Grid Master app
NOT SO SMOOTH OPERATION

Carlos Sainz doesn’t seem to be having the start of his dreams to his 2025 Campaign and his first year with Williams. Post-season and pre-season tests really set a high bar for our expectations, and somewhere deep down, we believed a podium was up for grabs. Turns out, a podium was up for grabs, BUT FOR ALEX ALBON. The go-to hot-take from racing fans after, of course, ‘LANCE STROLL IS A GOAT’ cliche (which is nonsense, it’s a fact, not a hot-take), has been Alex outscoring Carlos Sainz. However improbable it did seem before the start of the season, it turned out to be a solid reality. Pace hasn’t been that big a concern as of yet, but the races just don’t seem to come to Carlos. A perfect weekend is hard to come by even after a good qualifying, and something or the other seems to keep him away from a good finish. Fans are awaiting that one breakthrough performance from Carlos Sainz; however, how far that will go in changing the whole narrative of his season is yet to be seen.
CONTRACT IN MOTION?

Freshly baked out of the oven, and rather solid rumours are now swirling the internet that Sergio Checo Perez is all set to make a return to the racing grid next year with Cadillac. After having a rough season last year with Red Bull, stacking one poor qualifying position on top of another (which somehow, surprisingly, is the best that second Red Bull car has seen since), saw him left the team and the grid at the end of last year. Perez has been the top candidate for a comeback ever since Cadillac confirmed their spot on the 2026 line-up. It is apparent that the experience and Mexican Sponsor Perez brings along with him will be of great value for a new team like Cadillac. There is still no definite news about the second seat for the team, with speculations circling Bottas, Schumacher and Colton Herta alongside Perez.
LONDON E-PRIX CONTEST

The E-prix setting is only starting to get more and more heated as we now move under the crazy weather of London. So much still to be decided, so much still to play for. From amazing overtakes in the rain to great strategies on a dry track, this campaign of electric motor racing is having it all and amidst this very chaos, stand the chance to win big with Grid Master’s London E-prix contest. Go crazy or play it safe, go all in your intuition or spread your eggs wisely, play it bold or play it on passion. It is your track now and set the grid as you desire and steal the chance to outsmart everyone else and to make it on top spot of the podium by particpating for the upcoming E-prix contest, only on Grid Master!
END OF TSUNODA?

Strong indications are coming out of the Red Bull camp that they are looking to part ways with Yuki Tsunoda at the end of the season, owing to his tough time adapting to the team. (Who saw that coming?!) Isack Hadjar seems to be the favourite to replace him. It has been nothing short of an amazing roller-coaster ride to see the same fans now turned against Yuki Tsunoda, who advocated for his shot at the seat against Liam Lawson in the first place. (Red Bull’s second seat deprives you of any and every source of love in the world, I guess.) One can say it was only a matter of time before Yuki met his fate after being demoted from Racing Bulls to Red Bull, and it is unfolding as planned. (for Liam Lawson) The only question now is whether Yuki could retain his spot on the 2026 grid? The best shot for Yuki is a seat at Aston Martin, as Honda ties will do everything in their power to assist it.
