IS LEWIS CRASHING A BIG DEAL?

After the private test in Fiorano following that internet-breaking photoshoot, Lewis Hamilton took the wheel of the Ferrari SF-23 for a private session in Barcelona. While the test itself was relatively low-key, what made headlines was Lewis crashing and causing damage to the car. While this may have become meme material, is it really that big of a deal?
Ask any professional driver or rider, and they’ll tell you—there is no way you can get to and test the limits of a piece of a racing machinery without crashing. Anyone claiming otherwise is either lying or has never come remotely close to the edge of performance. An F1 driver’s job is to extract every ounce of speed from the car, which naturally means pushing it to the limit—and sometimes beyond. It’s far better to find those limits during testing than on race day. Because let’s be honest, once the season begins, the keyboard warriors will be ruthless.
That said, credit where it’s due—watching the internet go to extreme lengths to defend their favorite driver is always entertaining. Blaming bumps on the track? Circuit irregularities? We love you, internet!
RISE OF THE ITALIAN RED DEVILS!

The red teams of Italian motorsport are in a purple patch so deep, they can smoke on the water. Ducati has been the constructor to beat in MotoGP and Ferrari seems to have finally fixed the jigsaw puzzle in place. Both of these teams have a their factory project - the star they have bet and built upon for the future. Bagnaia and Leclerc are the racing gods Italy looks up and prays to. And for the first time in their careers, both of face a challenge of a ruthless multiple world champion, hunger than ever before for more success to establish their claim as the greatest of their respective sport. And the only way Marquez and Hamilton can do that is by usurping the very throne the Italians have made for Bagnaia and Leclerc. It is going to be a career defining season for the 4 of them. And in the end, the one who prevails will be defining the rules of racing godsmanship in Italy and the world for generations to come.
MAX TO ASTON, REALLY?

At first, it seemed like just another rumour. But as the speculation gains momentum, it’s getting harder to ignore. If this move happens, the biggest question isn’t if Aston Martin wants Max—it’s who makes way for him. In a battle between common sense and love, which one wins? If toxic human history is any guide, love prevails—even when everything else screams otherwise. The ideal scenario should be Alonso and Verstappen in a Newey-made Aston and Lance locked up in a house, never allowed near a car. But this world is far from ideal. So don’t be surprised if a Verstappen-Stroll lineup becomes a reality. If that happens, the difference between talents across the garage will be bigger than what a Lawrence Stroll PR team or paycheck can salvage!
MOTOGP LAUNCH EVENT IS ALMOST HERE!

Just like Formula 1 is set to do its launch event on February 18, 2025, in London, MotoGP will do the same on February 9, 2025, in Bangkok. The 3-day Sepang shakedown wrapped up on February 1, with pre-season testing kicking off on February 5. The entire grid will be present at the launch event, setting the stage for what promises to be an electrifying season.
Here’s what we’re looking forward to in 2025:
Marquez VS Bagnaia on factory Ducatis
World champion Martin on an Aprilia
Bat Mav VS The Beast at Tech 3 on a factory-spec KTM
Pedro Acosta on a factory KTM alongside Binder
The underrated duo of Oliveira and Miller on Pramac Yamahas
Can the Japanese resurge?
KTM’s future and survival in 2026.
WIN BIG THIS JEDDAH E-PRIX!

2 races down, Formula E gears up for the an exciting double header in Jeddah. With two races down, Formula E heads to an exciting double-header in Jeddah—and it’s bringing something new to the table. Starting in Jeddah, Formula E introduces the all-new ‘Pit Boost’—a 30-second quick charge that provides an extra 10% battery power via a 600 kW supercharger. But there’s a catch: drivers and teams must balance the added power against the loss of track position, making strategy more critical than ever. Combined with the already powerful 4WD Attack Mode, Pit Boost is set to shake up the race and push drivers to their limits. This is what makes Formula E so exciting—its fearless approach to innovation. If you’re as hyped as we are, make sure to create your fantasy teams on Grid Master for the Jeddah E-Prix and win cash!
CAN 2025 BE THE GOLDEN YEAR FOR MOTORSPORT?

New machines, new teammates, fresh rivalries, and championships on the line—2025 has all the ingredients to send Netflix into raptures.
In F1, on one side, we have Hamilton vs. Leclerc in a battle for Ferrari supremacy. On the other, Norris vs. Piastri will fighting to be McLaren’s number one. And whoever claims that top spot at Woking will possibly want the other out of the team. Add to that Russell stepping into a leadership role at Mercedes, Kimi Antonelli trying to prove he’s the next Verstappen, Liam Lawson battling to justify his seat over Yuki, Newey’s potential move to Aston Martin, the chaos brewing at Red Bull, and the classic clash of experience vs. youth at Haas and Sauber.
And then there’s the wildcard—how much longer can Lance Stroll test his father’s patience?
Oh and that’s just F1. In MotoGP, the factory Ducati battle is the one to watch out for. 1 trophy, 2 hungry riders with enough outsider chances to keep us on the edge of the seat and render a nail cutter absolutely useless.
And over in FE, things are as tight as ever with new and quirky changes like the 4WD attack mode and pit boost. Porsche and Jaguar seem to the cut above the rest but Nissan and Andretti have come tantalising close to troubling the top scorers. And as Indians, Mahindra’s resurgence is heartening to watch. Say what you will, 2025 might be one of the greatest year in motorsport, if not the best! And with Grid Master, we promise to turn your dreams into reality!
