SPANISH GP - NO MORE MR. P2!

Standing true to it’s unpredictable nature, drivers’ date with Jerez has ended in a major turn of events and a change of picture in the championship points table. A Marquez domination was in the bingo card for literally everyone but to be surprised with a Marquez win, THAT’S NEW! An opening lap for the ages was followed by monumental drama (just as we like it) as Marc Marquez crashes on Turn 8 of Lap 3. Alex sniffed the hope like a Shark, determined to keep the win in the family. (Classic Indian culture right there!) Alex shoved pass Quartararo and then went on to gain an have his maiden win and come out leading the championship. It was a memorable weekend from Fabio Quartararo ending his and Yamaha’s podium drought. The Frenchman delivered a stunning pole lap in Q2 on Saturday, which he backed up with a hard-fought second place in Sunday’s race. After the disappointment of a post-race penalty in Qatar, Viñales backed up his quality display by earning P4 in Spain with an overall positive Sunay for KTM as the leaderboard saw more KTMs in the top 10 than Ducatis.
MIAMI GP CONTEST!

Motorsport racing returns to the glamour land of Miami with a SPRINT WEEKEND. So much to play for as championship battle heats up with practicallly nothing seperating the cars on a Saturday. It’s all about nailing your final lap and the smallest of mistakes open the possibility of a jumbled up grid beyond imagination. Will Lando snatch the charge on the land he had his first win or will Max’s anger from the penalty in Saudi propel him to the finish line before anyone else? Exciting questions and even thrilling answers and to match this thrill of a Sprint weekend, participate now in the Grid Master’s Miami GP contest to put your knowledge and instincts to the test! Risk, calculation and intuition can lead you to the top step of the podium and wing big!
MONACO E-PRIX CONTEST!

Monaco has rarely disappointed, at least when it comed down to this discipline of motorsport racing. Our only shot at a side-to-side racing action across the narrow corners of Monaco circuit. The fun doesn’t end here as pit boosts open a pandora’s box of different strategies and this could turn out to be a very tasty one. It’s all to play for in a session as unpredictable as this!
NEW PROM QUEEN RUSSELL!

Well Well Well…HOW THE TURN TABLES! It was around this time last year that Mercedes’ CEO, Toto Wolff, went crawling to Max Verstappen like a desperate teen to get him to fill the team leader position after Lewis dropped the bombshell that he will be leaving in 2025. Fast forward to right now, where George Russell has had his best start to a season ever as he is consistently found fighting at the top and cheekily sneaking to the podium whenever he smells any opening at all. This has made George our new prom queen, and invitations seem to pour in from every corner of the grid as Horner claimed to have talks with Russell right after he was seen talking with Zak Brown and Alpine. Toto himself has claimed that he wouldn’t flirt when he is in a happy relationship (Horner, take a note), and he would certainly like to retain the current driver line-up.
FASTER RED, SAME DREAD!

Lewis Hamilton could have been leading the championship by now had the racing season stopped at aura farming season through Instagram posts, but alas, the stupid nature of the sport requires you to compete across 24 rounds of racing to achieve so. Ferrari has had a bad start to the season, but Lewis Hamilton has had it even worse. If it wasn’t heartbreaking enough to see Hamilton struggle in the car, his post-session interviews push the dagger even deeper. It’s very much a continuation of last year, but now in red. From requesting a brain transplant to criticising his qualifying performance, he has left no stone unturned to scream his struggles, and the only thing left is to request the fans to keep no expectations from him this season, OH WAIT! He already did that. The fans, nevertheless, hope to see Lewis get a feel for the car and start fighting at the top as the fans expected him to.
NUMBER 2 AT McLAREN?

Oscar scooped up all the “second driver” talk from last year, turned it into a cannonball, and blasted it straight through Norris' front wing — metaphorically, but still fatally, as he recovered dominantly by winning 3 races from the opening 5, back to back wins, 100 percent pole to win conversion and leading the championship. It is pretty apparent that Lando isn’t feeling one with the car, but he is doing more self-harm by being in his head, messing up Saturdays and starting from a position from which nothing but a podium seems practical. If Lando continues on this path, it won’t be long before McLaren throws in their towel and, despite Zak beginning every interview with the same old two-number-1s line, they might choose a number 1 driver at the team.
DID YOU KNOW?

Presenting a brand new section of your much-loved newsletter, called DID YOU KNOW? A segment where we take random, interesting, shocking facts, trivia and stories, realising how they painted the motorsport world, how we now see and love!
Aside from the immense G-forces, heat in the cockpit and demanding length of each race, driving a car must be pretty standard right? WRONG! A driver needs immense focus and presence of mind at each lap as they have to adjust the break balance of the car and other such settings around each corner. Not adjusting the car for a corner can lose you a lot of time over a lap or more.
